Solar Panel Case Study - Solar and ground source heat pump

This system involved installing a solar thermal system (120 Navitron evacuated tubes) on a barn to assist in heating a 500 litre cylinder of hot water and an outdoor pool. A Resol Differential Temperature Controller co-ordinates the operation of three pumps and two motorised valves.

A GSHP operates as the auxiliary heat source for all domestic hot water, heating and the pool.
